Nudes No. 5

Friday Night Nudes… These are a few of the final shots I took on the Weston Estate and a nearby forest in Big Sur, during a workshop with Ed Weston’s grandson, Kim.  I highly recommend the experience to everyone – pro and amateur, male and female, film and digital :)

I had so much fun shooting this whole series of Weston-inspired Nudes!  And I hope you enjoyed them too…

Here’s an opportunity to win a free print – for all of my awesome blog readers who continue to come back and leave some love :)  I’d love to hear which picture is your favorite from this series –  Nudes No. 1, Nudes No. 2, Nudes No. 3, Nudes No. 4, and Nudes No. 5.

Let me know in the comments below by next Friday, Oct. 2nd, and I will select someone at random for a free 8×10 print of your favorite image :)

xoxo,

Christa

**Updated to add** The snake is REAL, and it’s a 9 foot Albino Burmese Python weighing 25 pounds.  It feels like it’s way heavier though – I held it (albeit not while I was naked!).  Find out more info about Eugene the snake by clicking here.

Very artistic. I really like the Eve idea… but that snake must have been pretty heavy. Or was it fake? :)

If I had to choose, (and it’s not easy). I would choose the first picture in Nudes 2. That was a hard choice, because all are very well done.

I love #1 in series 4, Snakes are a fasinating creature. When I see the woman on the tree I think of a snake basking in the sun waiting for its next meal. I would be proud to adorne a wall with this photo.

I love the picture with the model laying across the tree nude, very serene. I believe it’s the top photo. Fantastic job!

My favorite is the first nude behind the floral curtain in Nudes #2…it is difficult to choose when all are great works of art. Kudos to the photographer.

That top image of the stone femal figure, the contrast of stone with the full woman form is great. The angle you shot from also gives some interest as if ones coming upon the person by chnace. Great work here and your other body of work.

I Love Love Love the 1st one behind the sheer lace curtain!! in Nude No 2. The lighting is amazing and she is covered yet completely exposed at the same time..and there is something about the way her hands are outside the curtain that makes it so interesting. Great Job Miss!!!!!

Nude Series 3 – the sixth picture. All of your pictures are great but this one shows the most emotion and vulnerability for me. I love the light and shadow and her posture – georgeous. This is just to beautiful and I would love to have this one …..

You have created some very nice work here. If I had to choose one shot it would be the third image in Nudes No. 5. I like the contrast or juxtaposition between the metal grate, the model, and the wood background. Very elemental!

loving 2nd image in series 5, just the whole feel of it. The snake part is cool, has a very Adam & Eve persona to it :)

All photos are really sexy and hot but to top it off, the photos of snake and apple are very creative.
